The Scope
Building the on-trade market from scratch involved delivering comprehensive marketing strategies, campaign concepts, and providing assistance in overall business development efforts for this innovative new drinks brand.
Freshly started, invited by the founder of this innovative drinks brand to join the team as an in-house marketing and business development consultant, focusing on helping the brand penetrate the hospitality market.
The Strategy
Working closely with the owner, we embarked on creating various marketing materials such as POS materials, gift packs, and user experience materials, gradually expanding our efforts. We implemented an influencer program with Belgium’s most famous female bartender as an ambassador for the product. Simultaneously, we developed activation strategies and executed a phased brand introduction at various key market events such as the Venuez fair, Gault Millau Belgium, and many others.
Additionally, we delivered concepts and strategies to support overall business development efforts. In support of sales, we introduced the brand to different key players in the Belgium and Netherlands on-trade markets, including 2-star restaurants and culinary shops. Activating these introductions with content generation. We even secured free exposure on Belgium’s national television by being featured in a cocktail program with branded content.
The Result
Together with the owner, in just 5 months, we increased the brand’s monthly sales from 3,000 bottles to 12,000 bottles, while expanding the team from 4 to 8 full-time employees. This laid the foundation for what is now an internationally recognized brand in both the on-trade and off-trade markets.
